Symphony.
I have a crush and it’s on a web development framework. In fact, I think it’s more than a crush; I think I’m in love.
Over the years I’ve used Wordpress, Drupal, Frog CMS, and others to organize content and build websites for clients and myself. Symphony is the first one that made no assumptions about what I was trying to do, and just let me do things my way.
So excited about all the possibilities. If you need me I’ll be geeking out.
Then again, it is also human nature to rationalize the onset of the inevitable, and the sorts of people now riding intentionally rusty bicycles will soon also claim to be “greying out” their hair, or intentionally fading their tattoos, or even “wearing their breasts lower.
Resen Media
Nice use of AJAX and transitions at Resen Media. I definitely thought it was a Flash site at first. Theirs is not exactly my favorite style — it’s a little too “extreme” for my taste — but I love the Beastie Boys posters.

Summer in Copenhagen (via [Zakkalicious / Mikael])
It’s as if this country’s fate and culture are hot blooded lovers poised on the verge of an outburst, ready to tear each other apart, and neither one knows whether it will be fighting or fucking.
Their hair flutters in the breeze as they leave a trail of swooning male pedestrians in their perfumed wake.
